Day 16, Aug 26, at Hoppies marina for the day

Going to stay here at Hoppies for another night.   both to catch up on some things.     Stan washed some clothes,  and we did a little repair work on front splash board and gang plank.    and catching up on the blog.    and other internet work.    spent some time in afternoon reading and visiting with neighbors,   a couple from Holland, MI,,   Randy anb Sherri  Chester, who are traveling similiar to us,  down the Mississippi river, up the OHio and Tennesse river to Wheeler dam and lake to attend boaters rendevous at Joe Wheeler state park, which is only 30 miles from our destination.     However, from there they go down to Mobile, al,  then to Florida and possible on to Bahammas.     they basically sold their house, bot the boat to be their home for a couple of years.   their website is    http://travelingwithpriorities.blogspot.com/
